A Little Poem About HOPE

HOPE

I am a drop of water
in an endless sea
A ripple in the vast ocean
I collide and merge
Liquid eternity
becoming many forms
Flowing through air
moved by gentle winds
Until winter comes,
the sky becomes dark
A cold chill
enters the land
I fall with a crash of thunder
hard on a rock
Lying, awaiting my sure death
the cold freeze comes
I mold to the rock
we become one-I wait...and listen...
Soon light breaks
cutting through black clouds
Land becomes warm
rock melts ice- where I lay my head
Again I flow
languid back to sea
I am a drop of water
a ripple in the vast ocean.

I'm glad this little poem offers you encouragement, Tony. Sometimes "hope" is all we have...and faith
